Press & Media

ACTRIMS welcomes and values media participation at the Forum 2024 and offers complimentary registration to those who qualify for press passes.

Press Registration is NOW CLOSED.

Any reporter, writer, producer, editor, photographer, or blogger with credentials from a print, online, or broadcast news organization, including freelance journalists, will be considered for a complimentary press pass to the Forum 2024. Press and media representatives may apply by completing the online application form and providing the appropriate credentials.

Eligibility

Press passes are available to working journalists who provide the appropriate credentials. Any reporter, writer, producer, editor, photographer, or blogger with credentials from a print, online, or broadcast news organization, including freelance journalists, will be considered.

Bloggers seeking press passes must work for a media outlet, publication, or independent website or blog that has original coverage and must demonstrate they have been writing regular posts at least 4 months prior to the conference. Bloggers should send a link of their website(s), samples of their blogs, or a letter from their editor for review.

Companies or organizations producing publications, videos, and other products intended for marketing, advertising, financial analysis, or public relations purposes may not register for press passes. This includes any organization that intends to sell or distribute content for profit and/or continuing education (CE) opportunities.

Credential Requirements

All press and media representatives must complete the online application form and submit one of the following credentials for review:

  • A letter of assignment or intent on the letterhead of the news organization being represented

  • A copy of a press or business card clearly showing media affiliation and position

Freelance journalists must submit one of the following for review:

  • A letter of assignment or intent on the letterhead of the news organization being represented

  • Recent copies of published bylined medical-related work

+ Embargo Policies

The following embargo policies are strictly enforced. Failure by media organizations to abide by the embargoes will result in suspension of media credentials, which will affect access privileges to current and future abstracts presented at ACTRIMS programs.

  • Full text of Regular Abstracts are embargoed until published on Monday, February 19, 2024.
